Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Medical Assistant to join our team at Dallas Medical Specialists. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our physicians in delivering exceptional medical services.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and obtaining medical histories
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, including sterilization and maintenance
  • Administer injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy
  • Support physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals
  • Answer telephone calls and screen referrals
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program
  • OR 12 months of direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting
  • OR current Medical Assistant certification

Candidates with one year of Medical work experience who do not possess Medical Assistant Certification must obtain Certification within one year of hire date. Medical Assistants who recently graduated from a Medical Assisting training program will obtain a clinical MA certification within 60 days of employment.
