Job Title: Veterinary Assistant

Seven Hills Veterinary Hospital Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our veterinary staff in providing top-quality care to our patients and clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Register clients and patients, book appointments, and maintain accurate records
  • Assist during exams and procedures, observe patients' behavior and conditions, and help set up laboratory tests
  • Manage patient medical records, provide general patient care, and maintain a clean and organized facility
  • Stock shelves, prepare cleaning solutions, and disinfect equipment and spaces
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or GED is required, along with experience in customer service and proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Preferred qualifications include a vocational diploma in Veterinary Technician Assistance and basic restraint experience with dogs and cats
  • Candidates must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly, work with various animal species, and perform physical tasks related to patient care
