Position Overview:

Our client, a prominent player in the design, implementation, and upkeep of sophisticated building technology solutions, is in search of a Senior Project Manager for Construction to enhance their vibrant team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main liaison for clients and oversee all stages of assigned projects from preconstruction to project completion.
  • Lead project teams, including Project Managers, Superintendents, and additional personnel, ensuring effective coordination and execution.
  • Track project advancement, manage timelines, and address any concerns related to budget, quality, or safety.
  • Ensure adherence to all pertinent laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.
  • Manage change requests and guarantee timely acquisition of materials and services.
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders, including subcontractors and suppliers, to address issues and maintain project coherence.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed project reports, including status updates and performance assessments.
  • Develop and oversee project budgets, ensuring financial oversight and profitability.
  • Implement and maintain quality standards and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Guide and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented atmosphere.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of ten years' experience in project management within the construction sector, with a significant emphasis on electrical systems and technology solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale projects, including familiarity with the specific requirements of healthcare construction projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Exceptional client-facing and internal communication abilities.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office, project management software, and other relevant tools.
  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is advantageous.
