As a Scheduler at Brodson, your primary responsibility will be to create and uphold construction project timelines while supporting the preconstruction and project management teams. This includes drafting, revising, and monitoring each project schedule, identifying delays and key milestones, and offering strategic guidance for effective schedule management. Strong communication and team collaboration skills are essential, along with proven leadership and management capabilities. You should be adept at working both independently and collaboratively, ensuring full transparency as required by the project or client. Additionally, you will be accountable for developing, reviewing, reporting, and supervising construction schedules.

Our projects span various counties, and the Scheduler will operate from our office.

  • Collaborate across departments with preconstruction and project management to develop, update, and maintain project schedules.
  • Integrate a comprehensive master schedule for all ongoing projects.
  • Examine the master schedule for key milestones and ensure coordination between schedules and performance against the baseline schedule.
  • Conduct schedule reviews, prepare regular update analysis reports, and investigate schedule impacts, recommending corrective actions to mitigate potential cost and schedule overruns.
  • Monitor and report the status of the program schedule to senior and executive management.
  • Represent the company and/or project in discussions with owners, architects, engineers, and other contractors as necessary.
  • Develop various schedule scenarios, mitigation plans, look-ahead schedules, and time impact analyses.
  • Identify scheduling issues, variations, opportunities, and corrective measures to address potential project delays.
  • Prepare necessary reports as directed by management, including construction reports, cash flows, histograms, earned value reports, and performance evaluations.
