Role Objective:
The primary goal is to support the comprehensive operations of the Human Resources department by ensuring precise management of ambassador records. - Maintain daily logs (new hires, terminations, transfers, departmental meetings, turnover statistics) and prepare reports accurately and promptly.
- Support all aspects of benefits enrollment and administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, vacation, sick leave, and jury duty pay. Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, verifying the accuracy of forms and timely administration.
- Process payroll and any required deductions on a bi-weekly schedule.
- Facilitate orientation sessions; provide new ambassadors with an overview of benefits, guide them in completing enrollment forms, and ensure accuracy, while also presenting the company handbook.
- Inform managers about monthly performance reviews, prepare payroll action forms, and monitor all completed reviews to ensure timely feedback.
- Oversee OSHA, Workers' Compensation, and Unemployment Claims responsibilities for the hotel. Keep the Director of Human Resources informed of claims needing management attention and assist in communication with insurance providers and medical professionals.
- Assist with front desk duties: welcome ambassadors and direct them to the appropriate manager when necessary.
- Contribute to the creation of the ambassador newsletter.
- Manage ambassador files and ensure filing is completed weekly.
- Guarantee full compliance with immigration laws for all ambassadors.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze trends.
- Keep ambassador bulletin boards updated, posting memos, event photos, and loss prevention materials.
- Regularly assess office and benefits supplies, complete purchase orders as needed, and maintain adequate inventory levels.
Qualifications and Skills:
A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
