Job Summary:

Management and Engineering Technologies International, Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist to provide recruiting support and employee data management for the company. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of related Recruiting/Human Resource experience and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides employee information by answering communications and referring special communications to the appropriate person.
• Provides recruiting support for the company, including creating or revising job descriptions as needed and uploading job postings to specified sites and social media.
• Reviews resumes, processes background checks, conducts assessments and initial interviews, and notifies rejected applicants.
• Maintains human resources records by maintaining applications, resumes, and applicant logs.
• Verifies candidates' backgrounds by contacting references and distributes new employee hiring forms, verifying completion.
• Helps employees by explaining benefit programs and maintains manager and employee confidence by keeping human resources information confidential.

Requirements:

• 3 years of related Recruiting/Human Resource experience
• Minimum education: Associates degree in a related HR field
• Positive attitude and great research skills, including the ability to use and research multiple databases
• Reporting and administrative writing skills
