Customer Technical Specialist

Peraton is seeking a Customer Technical Specialist to support our DHS customer at airports across the U.S. The ideal candidate will deliver professional, high-quality services directly to end users, providing both remote and in-person support for new installations and break/fix incidents.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for end-user devices, hardware, and peripherals, as well as network infrastructure, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), and audiovisual display systems.
Schedule and coordinate customer desk-side support for the installation of new software or to perform hardware or software break/fix activities.
Set up and configure new end-user equipment, including laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.
Document all changes in the ticketing system to ensure all asset and configuration information is up to date.
Investigate and resolve all connectivity issues related to end-user, site infrastructure, and STIP IT equipment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 0 years of experience or Associate's degree and 2 years of experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 4 years of relevant experience.
U.S. Citizenship, with the ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) clearance.
Experience with desk-side IT support and the ability to communicate in a professional manner with senior executive government staff.
Ability to lift up to 40-50 pounds installing IT equipment and push/pull carts transporting equipment.
