EBizCharge, a leader in payment processing solutions, is seeking a dedicated QA Automation Engineer to enhance our software quality assurance efforts. Our company is renowned for developing applications that streamline electronic payment processing, ensuring secure transactions while boosting client profitability.

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in interpreting product specifications and translating them into comprehensive test cases. You will oversee testing for multiple intricate B2B software initiatives simultaneously, ensuring the highest standards of quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable automation frameworks.
  • Create and execute testing strategies for various payment software products, including cloud-based applications and mobile solutions.
  • Draft detailed test plans, test cases, and reports for both manual and automated testing across diverse software projects.
  • Establish and refine quality control processes, proactively identifying areas for improvement in product release and bug resolution.
  • Communicate defects and issues to the development and UX teams, providing clear and actionable insights based on testing outcomes.
  • Monitor quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and resolution timelines, and provide regular updates on product quality.
  • Ensure that all final products meet specified requirements and align with user expectations.
  • Conduct market research to benchmark against similar products.
  • Stay informed about emerging testing tools and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in quality assurance.
  • At least 4 years of experience in QA automation and testing.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing automation frameworks from the ground up.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline development.
  • Familiarity with web automation tools such as WebdriverIO, Cypress, Selenium, and others.
  • Knowledge of build tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Experience with ERP/CRM systems and cloud-based eCommerce platforms.
  • Understanding of agile testing methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in creating test plans and managing defect tracking processes.
  • Experience in black box and white box testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Scrum/Agile processes.
  • A degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Commitment to long-term growth within the company.
  • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
  • On-site work is mandatory.
