Clinical Laboratory Quality Assurance Specialist

Location: Onsite

Compensation: $32/hr (Weekly pay + Benefits)

Contract Duration: 4 months (Potential for extension and permanent position)

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, starting at 7 AM (8-hour shifts)

The Clinical Laboratory Quality Assurance Specialist role is essential in supporting the testing and documentation functions of the Quality Assurance Department during the production and release of our control products. This position requires both independent work and collaboration within a team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Quality Assurance laboratory equipment.
  • Adhere to established laboratory practices and protocols.
  • Manage supply orders and uphold the Preventative Maintenance schedule for instruments.
  • Collaborate within a team and engage with other departments as necessary.
  • Assess assay runs for precision and compliance with Quality Assurance standards.
  • Document results in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) as needed.
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance Specialists to test products throughout the manufacturing process.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or higher in a scientific discipline or equivalent clinical laboratory experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a laboratory environment, specifically with chemistry or immunoassay analyzers.
  • Proficient in adhering to Good Laboratory Practices and procedures.
  • Experience with data entry into Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
  • Clinical experience and/or certification as a medical technologist is advantageous.
