Position Summary

As a Quality Assurance Automation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in translating product specifications into comprehensive test cases while managing quality assurance for multiple complex B2B software initiatives simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable automation frameworks.
  • Create and execute testing strategies for a diverse range of payment software products, including cloud-based applications and mobile solutions.
  • Draft test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing across various projects.
  • Establish and refine quality control processes, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement in product release and defect resolution workflows.
  • Communicate effectively with development and UX teams regarding defects, providing clear and actionable insights based on testing outcomes.
  • Monitor and report on quality assurance metrics, such as defect rates and resolution timelines.
  • Ensure that all final products meet established requirements and user expectations.
  • Conduct market research to benchmark against similar products.
  • Stay informed about emerging testing tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in quality assurance as an individual contributor.
  • At least 4 years of experience in QA automation and testing.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing automation frameworks from the ground up.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline development.
  • Familiarity with web automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Postman.
  • Knowledge of build tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems, as well as cloud-based eCommerce solutions.
  • Strong understanding of agile testing practices and software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Proficient in creating test plans and managing defect tracking processes.
  • Experience in both black box and white box testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Scrum/Agile methodologies to enhance team collaboration.
  • A degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Long-term commitment to professional growth within the company is desirable.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident for this position.
  • On-site work is mandatory.
