Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Care Coordinator to join our team at Albany Medical Center. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of satisfaction for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement physician orders and administer medications as needed
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs for care rendered, applying sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions
  • Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the nursing team to create a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients
  • Direct and guide ancillary personnel, maintaining standards of professional nursing and providing guidance on patient care protocols
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred
  • Current RN licensure and certification in area of specialty
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
