Job Description:

This is a challenging role that requires a skilled Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Our team is committed to creating a safe and supportive work environment where nurses can grow and develop their skills.

The ideal candidate will have excellent assessment and evaluation skills, be able to implement effective plans of care, and provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses. You will also collaborate with the nursing team to create a comprehensive plan of care for all patients and direct and guide ancillary personnel as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures and special tests, and document treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
  • Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
  • Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
  • Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a professional academic nursing program in which a Diploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree is conferred.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
  • Possesses knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools and techniques and demonstrates ability to apply in support of departmental and patient care quality improvement.
