Position Overview:

The Electronic Benefits Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the upkeep of the electronic verification of benefits database while overseeing the reimbursement benefit workflows to pinpoint areas for enhancement.

This role involves assisting in the analysis and resolution of identified challenges to optimize reimbursement benefit procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and refresh electronic verification of benefits settings.
  • Identify and resolve benefit discrepancies.
  • Support the testing, deployment, and troubleshooting of new configurations.
  • Contribute to the development of tools and methodologies for tracking and reporting reimbursement benefit results.
  • Recognize, categorize, and evaluate issues with precision and thoroughness.
  • Assist the Process Analyst in prioritizing and executing solutions and process enhancements.
  • Provide the Process Analyst with updates on progress, feedback, and requested reports.
  • Offer technical expertise regarding the eVOB process to the Reimbursement teams.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:

Required:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in reimbursement operations.

Preferred:
Experience with pVerify, FileMaker, and Durable Medical Equipment (DME).
Ability to interpret JSON and API calls.


Knowledge & Skills:
  • Familiarity with health insurance benefits and eligibility verification processes.
  • Understanding of medical terminology.
  • Proficiency in software applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Capability to maintain organization while effectively managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Comprehension of health insurance methodologies.
  • Proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.

Compensation:
The starting salary range for this position is $30.69 per hour. Offers may vary based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills, and experience.
