Position Overview: A Facility Maintenance Specialist is responsible for executing comprehensive cleaning services across various areas within the establishment. This role may include specialized training in different cleaning disciplines such as restroom sanitation, vacuuming, utility maintenance, glass cleaning, light-duty tasks, pressure washing, and floor care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Remove debris and litter from designated areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness in restrooms.
  • Clean glass surfaces and office desks.
  • Conduct spot cleaning on walls and other surfaces.

Restroom Maintenance: Specialists in restroom cleaning are tasked with disinfecting facilities, which includes restocking supplies, emptying waste bins, dusting, sweeping, sanitizing toilets and urinals, cleaning walls and partitions, wiping down countertops and mirrors, and mopping floors.

Trash Management: Waste management personnel are responsible for emptying trash containers throughout the facility, including public areas and entrances.

Office Cleaning: Office maintenance staff perform routine cleaning duties in workspace areas, which include disinfecting surfaces, managing waste, dusting, sweeping, damp mopping, and conducting restroom cleaning.

Project Duties: When time allows, Project Specialists engage in more detailed tasks such as laundry services, inventory replenishment, organizing storage spaces, light-duty pressure washing, cleaning stairwells and elevators, and maintaining outdoor areas by removing debris.
