This position falls under Hardware Product Development and reports directly to the EPM Director. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with teams in Product Management, Industrial Design, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Software Development, and Manufacturing. YOUR CONTRIBUTION AT PELOTON
  • Act as the central figure ensuring timely, budget-compliant, and complete project delivery.
  • Clarify the business objectives and value associated with each initiative to all team members.
  • Define project scope and plans: establish objectives and key performance indicators, create detailed project timelines, identify essential collaborators, assess risks and develop contingency strategies, and formulate change management protocols.
  • Oversee and manage program budgets and timelines for major projects from initial feasibility assessments to final launch.
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and address dependencies, risks, and challenges.
  • Ensure transparency by regularly updating key stakeholders and executives on project status and any changes.
  • Assist the team in enhancing the Product Development Process continuously.
  • Manage key supplier relationships, including engineering suppliers, contract manufacturers, component suppliers, and freelance design and engineering professionals.
  • Coordinate daily project operations, including shipping items, setting up prototypes, promptly responding to supplier inquiries, organizing meetings, obtaining samples, and managing all project documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR PELOTON
  • Self-driven, proactive, practical, and intellectually inquisitive.
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in program or product management within hardware development, such as consumer electronics, fitness equipment, appliances, or automotive sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a talent for motivating team members.
  • Experience or certification in project management, with PMP certification preferred.
  • Fluency in Mandarin.
  • Experience managing projects involving manufacturing in Asia.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Product Development Process and a broad knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to influence diverse audiences, including engineers, managers, and executives.
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
