Position Overview:
The Part-Time Audio Visual Support Specialist is integral to the execution and management of AV technology, systems, and processes that enhance the production atmosphere at our venue. This role encompasses support for all presentation video, audio, and display technologies during both event and non-event periods.

  • Part-time role
  • Availability required for nights, weekends, and holidays

Compensation:
This position offers an hourly wage of $15.00.

Benefits:
Part-time employees are eligible for a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions.

Venue Information:
The venue is a versatile auditorium with a seating capacity of 1,500.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver audio/visual operational support for all events.
  • Manage the logistics of A/V equipment including gathering, staging, setting up, operating, dismantling, and returning equipment post-events.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot audio and video signal flow effectively.
  • Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on AV equipment as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all event, service, and storage areas.
  • Collaborate with third-party AV vendors.
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing, and extensive walking throughout the venue.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred, with 1-2 years of relevant AV experience required.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in cable management.
  • Strong work ethic and punctuality.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule including days, nights, weekends, and select holidays.
