Position Overview
Timmons Group is currently seeking a Civil Engineering Project Specialist II/III to contribute to our Private Land Development Group.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing components of projects utilizing relevant software, modeling techniques, and Civil 3D technology.
  • Performing calculations using engineering principles and computer software to address challenges.
  • Preparing specifications and material lists through thorough research and catalog analysis to ensure proper installation, inspection, and payment processes.
  • Completing design details and compiling plan sets.
  • Conducting research and drafting objective summary reports to aid in project completion or inspections.
  • Assisting in the development of engineering and construction cost estimates.
  • Carrying out field observations, inspections, and data collection as directed by senior engineering personnel.
  • Communicating effectively with client representatives and internal design teams as instructed by senior engineering staff.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Two to ten years of experience in Land Development civil engineering, including residential neighborhood design as well as commercial and mixed-use projects.
  • Preferred EIT certification.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential.
