About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support to healthcare providers, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with medical procedures.
  • Administer medications and perform various medical tasks as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing medical records.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and support services.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
  • Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
