Sterile Processing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Specialist to join our team at Saint Joseph Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients by maintaining a clean and sterile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform duties of Sterile Processing Technician and maintain effective working relationships with other departments.
- Ensure quality of care for patients by adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements:
- High School diploma required.
- Certification in Sterile Processing (CRCST or CBSPD) is required.
- Minimum one year working in a Sterile Processing environment within a hospital setting.
- Basic computer skills and good customer service skills.
- Math skills, attention to detail, and ability to perform physical work.
- Knowledge of proper handling of clean, sterile and contaminated supplies and equipment is required.
- Intermediate Excel skills are required.
