Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform duties of Sterile Processing Technician and maintain effective working relationships with other departments.
  • Ensure quality of care for patients by adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with industry developments.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma required.
  • Certification in Sterile Processing (CRCST or CBSPD) is required.
  • Minimum one year working in a Sterile Processing environment within a hospital setting.
  • Basic computer skills and good customer service skills.
  • Math skills, attention to detail, and ability to perform physical work.
  • Knowledge of proper handling of clean, sterile and contaminated supplies and equipment is required.
  • Intermediate Excel skills are required.
