Certified Sterile Processing Specialist II

The Certified Sterile Processing Specialist II is responsible for executing the duties of a Sterile Processing Technician while fostering collaborative relationships with various departments to ensure optimal patient care.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Education: A High School diploma is mandatory.
Licensure: Certification in Sterile Processing (CRCST or CBSPD) is essential.
Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in a Sterile Processing environment within a healthcare facility is required.
Additional Requirements:
Proficiency in basic computer operations and strong customer service abilities are necessary.
Strong mathematical skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to perform physical tasks are crucial.
Understanding of the proper management of clean, sterile, and contaminated supplies and equipment is required.
Intermediate skills in Excel are necessary.
Work hours, starting times, and days may vary based on departmental and organizational requirements.
