The Central Sterile Processing Technician II is responsible for executing the essential functions of a Sterile Processing Technician while fostering a collaborative relationship with various departments to uphold the highest standards of patient care.
Qualifications and Core Competencies
Education: A minimum of a High School diploma is required.
Licensure: Certification in Sterile Processing (CRCST or CBSPD) is mandatory.
Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in a Sterile Processing environment within a healthcare facility is essential.
Additional Requirements:
Proficiency in basic computer operations and strong customer service abilities are necessary.
Strong mathematical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to perform physical tasks are required.
Comprehensive knowledge of the appropriate handling of clean, sterile, and contaminated materials and equipment is crucial.
Intermediate skills in Excel are required.
Work hours, including start times and days, may be adjusted based on departmental and organizational requirements.
