Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide support to our Sales and Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and have a strong ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the SVP of Sales, Marketing & Innovation, including calendar management, expense report handling, and scheduling meetings.
  • Take initiative to ensure the smooth operation and overall efficiency of the SVP's day-to-day business.
  • Advise the SVP and VP of scheduled events and special situations that may require immediate action.
  • Communicate meeting minutes and provide historical information in preparation for meetings; manage confidential and routine files/contracts.
  • Participate in the coordination and editing of communications for senior leaders and functions that align with and support the overall goals of the team and organization.
  • Be point person for coordination and execution of annual National Sales Meeting.
  • Lead team for execution of key trade show events (e.g. American Meat Council, Fancy Food Show, etc.).
  • Own promotional "swag" budget and manage inventory for sales & marketing team; determine items to order and rate of replenishment for customer field team.
  • Design promotional items with approved vendors as needed (e.g. company polos, gear) that adhere to branded guidelines.
  • Make recommendations on promotional items that are modern/contemporary and delivered at a favorable cost.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
  • Organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
