Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Product Engineering department, you will be responsible for evaluating, reporting, and achieving manufacturability KPIs by consulting with R&D on optimal product design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and report on manufacturability KPIs to ensure stable and ergonomic processes for high-volume manufacturing
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, production control, and engineering to provide product design and product concepts that meet assembly requirements
  • Use CAD-data-analysis, simulations, and virtual tests to identify risks for high-volume manufacturing
  • Implement technical requirements from manufacturing to influence product design
  • Take responsibility for all communication between production planning assembly and the engineering department as a single point of contact for all exterior vehicle design-related topics
Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional experience in manufacturing engineering or production planning (General Assembly)
  • Deep knowledge of vehicle engineering processes
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, or equivalent
  • Skillful at organizational navigation and cross-functional collaboration at all levels
