As a Radiographer at Penn Medicine Valley Forge, you will play a critical role in creating high-quality medical images that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review x-ray requisitions to determine the type of exam and take necessary clinical history
  • Maintain accurate records for individual patient exams and execute scans using appropriate protocols
  • Operate and troubleshoot radiographic and darkroom equipment, performing QA on images
  • Manage inventory of supplies and maintain a clean and organized imaging room and equipment
  • Complete related documentation and distribute images to the proper area for reading
  • Call in results as determined by the provider
  • Perform duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures

Credentials and Education:

  • Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program with registry by the ARRT (Required)
  • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 1+ years of radiography experience (Preferred)
