Ultrasound Radiology Team Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Radiology Team Lead to join our team at Loyola University Health System. As a key member of our Medical Imaging Department, you will be responsible for coordinating and directing the work of our US technologist staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and efficient workflow.

About the Role

  • Lead and manage a team of US technologists, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and departmental operations.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Medical Imaging Services and Radiologists to develop and implement departmental policies and procedures.
  • Plan and coordinate workflow, employee schedules, and resource allocation to optimize departmental efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, patients, and families to ensure a positive and respectful work environment.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Radiology or Sonography.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Medical Imaging, with a focus on Ultrasound.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) certification and CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
