Ultrasound Radiology Team Lead Opportunity

Loyola Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Radiology Team Lead to join our team at MacNeal Hospital. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for coordinating and directing the US technologist staff, implementing patient care delivery of US procedures, and working closely with the Director of Medical Imaging services and Radiologist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and direct the US technologist staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery
  • Implement and manage the workflow and employee schedule within the department
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, promoting a respectful and compassionate work environment
  • Collaborate with the Director of Medical Imaging services and Radiologist to ensure seamless patient care delivery

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in Medical Imaging, with a focus on Ultrasound
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) certification
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
