We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Radiology Team Lead to join our team at Loyola University Health System. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for coordinating and directing the work of our ultrasound technologists, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and exceptional imaging services.
About the Role
- Lead and manage a team of ultrasound technologists, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and efficient department operations.
- Collaborate with our Director of Medical Imaging Services and Radiologists to develop and implement departmental policies and procedures.
- Plan and coordinate workflow, employee schedules, and resource allocation to optimize department productivity and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
Requirements
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Radiology or Sonography.
- 3-5 years of experience in medical imaging, with a focus on ultrasound technology.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) certification and CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
