Beverage Attendant

As a key member of our Morongo Casino Resort & Spa team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by serving cocktails and beverages in a timely and efficient manner. You will be the face of our establishment, ensuring that every guest interaction is friendly, helpful, and professional.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a fast-paced environment, adhering to 4-Star/4-Diamond standards.
- Exhibit a high level of professionalism and courtesy in every guest interaction, ensuring a positive experience for all.
- Responsible alcohol service in accordance with TIPS training, prioritizing guest safety and well-being.
- Bus glasses and maintain the cleanliness of assigned sections, adhering to high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
- Maintain stock and cleanliness of the cocktail service station, ensuring a well-organized and efficient workspace.
- Cash transactions with guests, operating the adopted register system with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Work special events, as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team.
- Excellent verbal skills, with the ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with staff and guests.
- Knowledge of all phases of beverage administration, cost control, and familiarity with all beverage services.
- Must possess a high regard for guest service, prioritizing exceptional customer experience.
- High School Diploma or GED required, with a minimum age requirement of 21 years.
- Experience in alcoholic beverage service in a high-volume beverage-serving establishment is essential.
- TIPS certification is mandatory, demonstrating a commitment to responsible alcohol service.
Must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Morongo Gaming Agency.
Certified Food Handler Card is required, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Language Skills:Must have the ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as order tickets, recipes, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers and guests, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Mathematical Skills:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks within a fast-paced work environment, applying common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.
Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand and walk during an 8-hour shift.
Team member is regularly required to reach with hands and arms and use hands to manipulate and feel.
The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
The team member must have the ability to hear and speak, with a sense of vision that includes seeing up close, at a distance, in color, and having depth perception.
An acute sense of taste and smell is vital to success in this position.
Work Environment:This is a fast-paced work environment, requiring the ability to cope with moderate to loud noise levels and a smoking environment.
Working Hours:Because we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, most positions require flexibility in scheduling and may require team members to be available for evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
A typical workweek is 40 hours, with normal work schedules varying based on business needs and may include scheduled shifts Monday through Sunday.
Position may require overtime, demonstrating a commitment to meeting business demands.
