Position Summary:


The Beverage and Retail Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience by assisting customers with their purchases, guiding them in finding desired items, and managing inventory efficiently.

This role involves operating the cash register and processing transactions accurately, as well as wrapping and bagging merchandise while ensuring the retail space remains tidy and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:
Basic Responsibilities

- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.

- Be available for flexible scheduling, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Adhere to operational policies and standards, ensuring the delivery of quality beverages and food products, as well as effective cash handling and safety protocols.

- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide clear, friendly communication.

- Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customized requests, accommodating changes in temperature, ingredient quantities, or substitutions.

- Be prepared to perform various tasks within the retail environment during each shift.

- Obtain Food Handlers San Diego Certification upon hire.

- Obtain RBS (Responsible Beverage Server) San Diego Certification upon hire.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

- Quick learning ability.

- Proficient in following oral and written instructions, with a willingness to seek clarification when necessary.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

- Ability to foster positive relationships with guests and colleagues.
