Responsibilities:
Job Purpose
The Food and Beverage Service Associate is tasked with serving food and beverages at the club's snack bar to members and guests.
Assist members and guests in selecting food and beverages by detailing special offerings or menu updates, addressing inquiries about food preparation, recording selections, and promoting additional items where applicable.
Deliver orders to members and guests with the appropriate accompaniments or garnishes. Ensure that orders adhere to proper presentation and quality standards, package take-out orders as necessary, and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Process transactions through the Point-of-Sale system (POS).
Maintain appealing food displays and cleanliness of tables, counters, dishes, chairs, floors, and equipment. Ensure adequate inventory levels in storage areas and refrigerators.
Manage cash and reconcile the register at the end of each shift. Notify management of supply shortages and upcoming events that may impact snack bar operations.
Follow closing procedures.
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding attendance, timekeeping, dress code, and safety.
Assist other food and beverage outlets as directed by management.
Support the training of fellow snack bar attendants.
Other duties may be assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
Must be of legal age to sell and serve alcoholic beverages; applicable state card or certificate must be provided if required by state law.
Experience with cash and credit card transactions is essential.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
Knowledge of relevant liquor laws, procedures, and policies, with the ability to recognize signs of intoxication.
Understanding of proper food preparation, storage, and sanitation standards.
Education
A high school diploma or equivalent experience is preferred.

Working Conditions
Days and hours of work vary based on schedule and business needs.
Evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be required to stand for extended periods, walk, read, hear, talk, balance, climb, use hands, use fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, smell, taste, push, or pull.
