Turner & Townsend is on the lookout for a skilled Lead Cost Consultant / Quantity Surveyor to deliver cost management and estimation services for a significant data center construction initiative for a prominent technology client. The successful applicant should demonstrate outstanding communication abilities and excel in a client-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and negotiate modifications throughout the construction process.
  • Develop and present comprehensive cost plans.
  • Work closely with the design services team and general contractor to prepare cost estimates.
  • Ensure accuracy of data and reconcile changes.
  • Engage with project stakeholders to provide updates on progress.
  • Coordinate sources of cost information and prioritize engineering efforts.
  • Proactively address scheduling challenges.
  • Oversee cost assessments, valuations, and variances post-contract.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in construction cost management.
  • A degree in construction management or a related discipline.
  • RICS accreditation or in the process of obtaining it.
  • Proven experience in leading cost management for construction projects.
  • Familiarity with technical aspects of construction.
