About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Engineer to join our team at Apple, where you will play a critical role in optimizing the performance of our latest Apple Silicon GPUs. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with engineers from driver, framework, hardware, and architecture teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze workloads to identify hardware issues and software bottlenecks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve performance issues
  • Develop tools to streamline data analysis and improve methodology
  • Configure systems for accurate performance measurements
  • Build scripts and tools to analyze large sets of data
Requirements
  • Technical BS/MS degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with iOS and macOS
  • Knowledge of GPU performance strengths and deficiencies
  • Experience analyzing performance of 3D applications and games
  • Experience debugging software and complex SOC hardware performance issues
What We Offer

At Apple, we offer a comprehensive compensation package, including a base pay range of $130,000 to $242,000, discretionary bonuses, commission payments, and relocation assistance. You will also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through our discretionary employee stock programs. Additionally, you will receive benefits such as comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, and reimbursement for certain educational expenses.
