We are seeking a highly skilled GPU Performance Analysis Engineer to join our team at Apple. As a key member of our Silicon Engineering Group, you will play a critical role in designing and manufacturing our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient GPU.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze unit and system-level performance issues to ensure our GPU meets performance and power goals.
- Quantify the performance benefit of features and algorithms implemented in hardware or software.
- Conduct studies and contribute solutions to performance challenges related to GPU design.
- Participate in micro-architecture specification and RTL logic design in the GPU team.
- Strong background in computer architecture and memory hierarchy design, including cache and MMU.
- Experience in characterizing performance, driving comparison studies, and debugging performance issues.
- Experience with Verilog, C, C++, and scripting languages like Python.
- B.S. degree and minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with GPU design.
- Excellent communications skills, motivation, and high level of organization.
- Fast learner with a willingness to tackle technical challenges using innovation.
