As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling, inspection, and testing of gas cylinders. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect gas cylinders for surface defects and test cylinder wall thickness
  • Safely move gas cylinders from pallets to testing equipment
  • Calibrate and adjust ultrasonic testing equipment to required standards
  • Review and interpret test results, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Record test results, cylinder serial numbers, and test dates accurately and efficiently
  • Stamp test dates and label cylinders once testing is complete
  • Ensure defective cylinders are removed from service until corrected

You will work closely with our maintenance team to perform routine inspections and repairs on ultrasonic testing equipment. Additionally, you will operate computer equipment and value machines to conduct testing.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Excellent reading and writing skills in English
  • Mechanical aptitude and technical skills
  • Computer literacy

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
