Job Overview

ProCare Therapy is on the lookout for a dedicated and knowledgeable School Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to enhance our team. This role is essential for designing, executing, and supervising tailored behavior intervention strategies for students. A strong grasp of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles is crucial, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to pinpoint students' behavioral requirements and formulate individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Oversee and implement ABA therapy programs aimed at addressing challenging behaviors while fostering skill development within an educational context.
  • Provide direct oversight and training to Behavior Technicians and other personnel to ensure the integrity of ABA interventions.
  • Work in partnership with students, families, and other professionals to create and execute effective treatment strategies.
  • Continuously monitor and assess student progress, utilizing data-driven insights to modify interventions as needed.
  • Maintain precise and current records of student progress and treatment results.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and best practices in behavior analysis.
  • Engage in regular team meetings, case discussions, and professional development activities.
Qualifications
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential.
  • Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing ABA therapy and supervising staff.
  • In-depth knowledge of ABA principles, assessment tools, and intervention methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate with students, families, and team members.
  • Competence in data collection and analysis.
  • Capability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with industry advancements.
