Job Title: LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Endocrinology/Diabetes Clinic

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Endocrinology/Diabetes Clinic team at OU Health. As a LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
• Administer medications safely under the direction of a physician or other medical personnel
• Observe, record, and report patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians
• Provide care according to an established nursing plan
• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation
• Ensure patient chart entries are made accurately and in a timely manner and forwarding charts as appropriate
• Communicate systematic report to other care providers
• Assist in the coordination of care delivery; utilize resources to promote the continuum of care
• Employ strategies to promote health in a safe environment
• Document progress toward the attainment of outcomes
• Use quality and evidence-based practice to deliver and improve care
• Work closely with more experienced clinicians for guidance and supervision
• Triage telephone calls for referral to other clinical team members

Requirements:
• Graduation from an approved License Practical Nurse program
• Current LPN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact LPN License (eNLC) required
• Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire
