Job Title: LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Cardiology and Pulmonology Clinic

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at OU Health's Cardiology and Pulmonology Clinic. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our clinic.

Job Summary:

The LPN will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician to provide direct patient care, administer medications, and perform various clinical tasks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Observe and record patient vital signs and symptoms
  • Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Assist with patient transfers and mobility
  • Participate in patient education and counseling
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • Current LPN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • 1+ year of experience as an LPN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
