Military Police Career Overview

As a Military Police Officer in the U.S. Army, you will play a critical role in maintaining law and order on Army installations. Your primary responsibility will be to enforce military laws and regulations, ensuring the safety and security of personnel and property.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct law enforcement patrols to deter and prevent crime
  • Investigate crimes, interview witnesses and suspects, and collect evidence
  • Provide security and crowd control at events and installations
  • Respond to emergencies and provide assistance as needed
Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Cardholder
Training and Skills:

As a Military Police Officer, you will receive comprehensive training in police methods, including basic warrior skills, firearms training, and investigative techniques. You will also learn about military and civil laws, as well as traffic and crowd control.
