Job Overview

Position Summary:

This role involves a structured schedule of 8am to 4:30pm during the initial training phase, which lasts approximately 3 to 4 weeks. Consistent attendance is crucial during this period. Following training, a hybrid work model may be implemented based on performance metrics related to production, quality, and attendance.

The primary responsibility is to assist clients with their homeowner's insurance claims. The specialist oversees the entire claims process from the initial report to the completion of necessary repairs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively addressing inquiries and requests from clients, colleagues, contractors, adjusters, and agents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle an estimated minimum of 25 calls daily.
  • Demonstrate patience and understanding when dealing with distressed customers.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and provide solutions to customer issues.
  • Document all activities related to claims and issue payments for repairs as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements throughout the claims process.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, administrative, data entry, or production roles.
  • Consistent attendance is mandatory.
  • Proficient in using multiple computer monitors and applications simultaneously.
  • Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Reliable internet connection for potential hybrid work arrangements.
