Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Nursing Assistant to join our team at our Hospice House in Huntersville, NC. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver personal care, including bathing, body mechanics, nutrition, and elimination support
  • Assist with safety measures, such as side rails, mitts, and restraints
  • Perform housekeeping services to maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and special care conferences
  • Document patient care and progress accurately and timely
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent, plus training/certification in a related field
  • Current listing status as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of North Carolina
  • Minimum 1 year experience in home care, working with terminally ill and/or geriatric patients
