Job Summary:

The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all materials, parts, and products adhere to established quality standards. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to support process improvements and address quality-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Develop and implement inspection protocols, sampling procedures, and testing equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement process improvements, and to develop and maintain quality control procedures.
  • Record and analyze test results, and complete Certificates of Conformance (CoC) and Certificates of Analysis (CofAs) as required.
  • Support root cause analyses and address quality-related issues, such as customer complaints, RMAs, CARs, and MRB incidents, with the Quality Supervisor and Production Managers.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of quality-related documents, such as U/L, CSA, REACH, and RoHS compliance documents.
  • Perform tasks under general supervision with minimal oversight, and take initiative to improve processes and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in quality control or a related field.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management system standards.
Work Environment:

This is a temp-to-hire role with a pay rate of $23-$25 per hour. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:30am-4pm. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
