Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Audio and Video Equipment Technician to support live and archived streaming of House Full Committee Meetings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience with meeting room AV equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, test, and operate audio and video equipment in House Committee Rooms.
  • Monitor sound feeds to ensure quality and resolve equipment issues.
  • Assist House IT staff in booting up and testing Subcommittee or Committee voting tablets.
  • Initiate and end live stream of Full Committee Meetings.
  • Operate live stream camera controllers to ensure correct camera feeds and professional presentation of live stream.

Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills and excellent technical skills.
  • Good troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve technical problems quickly.
  • Ability to stay cool under pressure and work to tight deadlines.
