### Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Equipment Technician II - Refrigeration Specialist to join our team at Lineage Logistics. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, and electrical systems while adhering to all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

### Key Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Equipment Technician II - Refrigeration Specialist, you will perform a variety of tasks, including:

* Performing basic preventative maintenance tasks and minor repairs on all mechanical assets impacting the operation of the facility, physical structure, and exterior grounds under the instruction and close supervision of leadership.
* At automated sites, performing basic preventative maintenance tasks on proximity switches, photoelectric sensors, pressure switches, push buttons, and the associated testing equipment under the instruction and close supervision of leadership.
* Performing basic inspections of refrigeration systems under the instruction and close supervision of leadership.
* Performing basic preventative maintenance tasks on material handling equipment per manufacturer and company guidelines to ensure continual and safe operation under the instruction and close supervision of leadership.

### Additional Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Equipment Technician II - Refrigeration Specialist, you will also be responsible for:

* Operating power tools, cutting torches, and other welding apparatus to cut or join metal parts.
* Utilizing onsite motorized lifts and rental equipment as needed while operating, inspecting, calibrating, and maintaining equipment.

### Minimum Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

* Completion of trade school courses or minimal experience in one or more of the following areas preferred: building maintenance, material handling equipment maintenance, or refrigeration maintenance (ammonia, Freon, and/or CO2).
* The ability to complete routine preventative maintenance with instructions and supervision.
* Full proficiency with, and the ability to operate, power and hand tools.
* Basic computer skills.
* The ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the facility.
* Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* The ability to multi-task and prioritize workload with demonstrated organizational skills.
* The ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit (-25 Celsius) in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit (37 Celsius) in dry storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
* The ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. (23 kgs.); weight may be more dependent upon facility.
* The ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
* Some locations require being comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud.
* Some locations require demonstrated knowledge and practice of Working at Height.

### Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
