The Role

This position is part of the Andersen Tax Operations team, and the primary responsibilities will include responding to help desk tickets, troubleshooting technology issues, and working on various projects that require a clear understanding of Microsoft Windows Server.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to help desk tickets and provide technical support to systems users
  • Troubleshoot technology issues and identify solutions
  • Work on various projects that require a clear understanding of Microsoft Windows Server
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting to support employees
  • Manage ongoing deployment, updates, and prioritization of various application upgrades or development
  • Handle various IT projects on an ad hoc basis
  • Administer new hire technology needs
  • Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, Windows networks, Apple workstations, file servers, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems
  • Perform and/or oversee software and application installation and upgrades
  • Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties
  • Develop and conduct various training and instruction for system users on operating systems and other applications
  • Provide computer orientation to new and existing company staff
  • Manage multiple ongoing projects
  • Participate in an on-call rotation
Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor degree in Information Technology preferred; Bachelor degree in Business acceptable; applicable certifications acceptable;
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 required;
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience;
  • Experience with Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft Office Suite, Mobil devices, and general PC Hardware knowledge;
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a natural facilitator;
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Strong attention to detail, flexibility, able to handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment; strong organizational skills;
  • Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment;
  • Ability to interact with and gain the respect of all levels of internal personnel;
  • Basic understanding of networking and network-related hardware, examples include: LAN, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, Router, and Switch;
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire.
Benefits

Andersen offers a competitive base compensation, benefits package, and a discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics per the defined program guidelines.

For individuals hired to work in NorCal, the expected salary range for this role is $79,000 to $126,500; the actual salary offer can vary based upon employee qualifications.

Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our firm's 401(k) plan upon hire. We offer paid time off, beginning at 160 hours annually and provides twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
