Job Title: Veterinary Technician - Anesthesia Focus

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Dental and Oral Surgery Department at Ethos Veterinary Health in Richmond, VA.

About the Role:

This position is focused on anesthesia, with an Anesthesiologist on staff to provide support to our LVTs and DVMs. As a Veterinary Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including placing IV catheters, venipuncture, administering premedication, anesthesia induction & monitoring, patient preparation, dental prophylactics, radiographs, etc.

Requirements:
  • Veterinary Technician Licensed (required)
  • Strong communication and client service skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a busy work setting
  • Strong sense of compassion and empathy for our patients and clients
  • Strong anesthesia skills
