Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our Primary Care team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to pets at every stage of their health journey. Your expertise and passion for animal care will make a significant impact on our team and the lives of our patients.
Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including anesthesia and anesthetic monitoring, drug calculations, and protocols.
- Provide exceptional patient care, including phlebotomy, laboratory testing, and medical record-keeping.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient practice operations.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and technologies.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician.
- Associates in Veterinary Technology or equivalent experience.
- CVT license or equivalent certification.
- Knowledge of anesthesia and monitoring, phlebotomy, and laboratory testing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competitive hourly rate of $28.00.
- Monday-Thursday and rotating Saturday schedule.
- Closed on holidays.
