Key Responsibilities:

  • Support attorneys in handling a significant volume of collection cases, ensuring accurate and timely legal processes.
  • Act as the main contact for clients, providing updates on case progress and addressing inquiries promptly.
  • Work with clients to collect necessary documentation related to outstanding debts.
  • Organize and maintain case files, including electronic records, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Draft legal documents and communicate with debtors, creditors, clients, and opposing counsel.
  • Prepare and submit court documents, including complaints and motions, to the appropriate legal entities.
  • Familiarity with FDCPA and HIPAA regulations is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Paralegal Certificate, Bachelor's or Associate's degree, or a relevant combination of education and experience.
