Position Summary:
The selected individual will play a crucial role within a dedicated team of PET technologists and healthcare professionals, delivering advanced cardiac imaging in both clinical and research settings. This position emphasizes collaboration with physicians, nurses, research staff, and administrative personnel, all striving towards a common goal.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive PET scan procedures as prescribed by physicians, ensuring the generation of high-quality patient image data through sophisticated imaging technology.
2. Innovate and implement new image processing methodologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
3. Utilize appropriate imaging protocols tailored to each patient, promptly addressing any issues with computerized systems.
4. Assist in the formulation, modification, and enforcement of laboratory policies and imaging protocols.
5. Provide training and support to both new and existing clinical and technical staff, serving as a knowledgeable resource.
6. Develop specifications for diagnostic radiological equipment and collaborate with faculty as needed.
7. Adapt and implement new clinical procedures, protocols, and technologies to enhance productivity and program development.

Qualifications:
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT(N) certification is mandatory.
- Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Certification is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Education and Experience:
- An Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology is required.
- A minimum of three years of experience in a nuclear cardiology laboratory is necessary.

Physical Requirements:
Must be capable of exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
