Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will:
  • Oversee the technical operations of the PET laboratory, ensuring quality control and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Perform a comprehensive range of PET scan procedures, utilizing advanced imaging technology to produce accurate patient data.
  • Develop and implement innovative imaging techniques to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide training and support to clinical and technical staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Assist in the formulation and enforcement of laboratory policies and imaging protocols.
  • Engage in research projects aimed at improving clinical procedures and patient outcomes.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT(N) certification.
  • Preferred certification in Positron Emission Tomography (PET).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • An Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a nuclear cardiology laboratory.

Physical Requirements:
Candidates should be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently to move objects.

Security and Residency:
This position may involve security-sensitive responsibilities. Employees must reside and work permanently in the State of Texas.
